Dynamic Dust

Farewell: A name which signifies a blend of feelings which are associated with every moment you’ve ever lived; every moment when you’ve failed and risen up; every moment of joy and delight. RUKSAT was one of those last moments to our seniors.

As obedient students of Engineering, we followed the ritual of preparing late for the farewell party. Hustle and bustle was there as I entered in the hall. For me, main tragedy occurred when my classmates told me that I was supposed to bring things to do ‘Tika’ and I had no idea about it.

Glamorous Divas and dashing guys stole all the attention and as the event commenced, things went alright in decorum.

Smile is indeed a most beautiful thing and this picture will surely remain a keen memory.

Farewell started with ribbon cutting and tilak like a long, long time ritual!!!

Everyone was in their best attire i think. From Robin Hood Panday to guys in formals, every one was in diverse range and were appearing unique. #Fashion Freaks textos had surely stolen the show..!!!

And here in the end, host of the eve; third year students ;) how can i miss my buddies and their efforts for this eve?

Holi is a festival of joy; it is a festival to cherish beautiful colors of your life; it is meant to respect victory of truth over devil and to bring people together; it is meant to enjoy with as many people as you can. It’s always good to fill lives of people with colors. Not only these colors of Holi touch people physically but emotionally these colors leave an unbound and loving impact somewhere inside.

In today’s world, when people are busy in their own lives they don’t realize how far they are going from people who surrounds them. Only social networking has become a sole reason of connection with people.

This festival is meant to break this stereotype at least once a year. Everyone wants a colorful life and Holi gives us a chance to realize this. These colors are meant to spread a feeling of oneness, happiness and joy everywhere.

On this Holi, I enjoyed a lot with my friends. We were six people standing near Mahamaya temple when we saw the board of old age home in front of us. We decided to go inside and celebrate Holi with people there. I remember when we entered the gate; there was only silence which we were feeling. As we took some steps further, we heard a voice “RAM RAM”. Kritika, as a resident of that area was accustomed to these words; the old man who was sitting there had made his habit to converse with people and wish them “RAM RAM”. We said the same in return.

We asked them to play Holi with us. We made their face colorful and all of them were smiling. When we took photographs with them, they were enthusiastic and happy to cherish those moments with us. They blessed us and we left the place but before we could leave, that old man again said, “Kal bhot log aayenge tum bhi ana beta”. We smiled and gave him a nod.

We stood at a nearby place to have a chit chat where Riya and Geetanjali dared me to color policemen’s face with Holi. I accepted and went to him. At first he denied but then agreed to put on a Holi tika. As I came back to my friends, an uncle came and he asked us to put on Holi tika to his face. There was another women sitting and watching our mischiefs. She was smiling at us.

I went to her and asked whether I could put colors to her face. She was delighted and we spread colors to her face. She was not known yet she was happy to celebrate Holi with us. I think somewhere we are lacking in connecting with people. It’s an important part and I realized the need of this connection this year on Holi.

All I learnt this Holi is that it’s not just physical colors that we put on people but it’s more than it. Your single touch of delight can make someone’s day. These colors remind us the need of addressing people. It teaches us to spread colors and bring smile to their faces!

Our physical body needs food to construct energy for survival. Same is the case of soul and music. Music creates a shield of energy to soul. It acts as a food for soul!

Music dives inside where external and physical things fail. It heals you from within. A lot of treatments are done with music. Reason being that music is a source which nurtures a body from inside.

Surely, we need external source i.e ears to accept these waves in our body but the reaction which your bodies cause is entirely dependent on a person’s feelings.

Human body is much more than it seems externally. Although, what we see from our naked eyes seems existent to us but things we can’t see seems impossible to us. Its human nature but we can’t deny the role of feelings in our life. They are not physical quantities but affect us in a diverse way.

It means we possess something more inside us which is much more than physical. Either you treat it as you conscience or anything else but it’s sure that our brain needs much more things than food to work efficiently.

Music is one of those requirements. Have you heard someone ever saying that they hate music? I haven’t.

Everyone have their different taste of music but hating it is out of question. Depending upon your mood, you choose different kind of music to listen. Music affects you from inside. Sometimes, when you’ve felt so much exhausted after a day’s struggle, a sweet melody helps you to retain your energy and changes your mood. Isn’t it?

Music acts as a food to soul. It fuels us with energy. Physical food gives us energy to do work but soul food gives us energy to do our work efficiently with focus. If a person is happy, it’s proven he works much better as compared to a person in stress. Nurturing our soul is an important part in order to stay happy.

Everything needs energy for working. Either it’s a car, fan, plant or even you. The only difference is ‘type’ of energy required. Car requires petrol, fan requires electricity, and plants require water and sunlight whereas you require food. How can you expect your soul working without energy?

Its food is different and so as its working. Music opens up mind and soul allowing it to grasp and observe things. Some people indulge themselves so deep in it that they don’t even feel any need to see outside world.

Music takes you inside yourself. It makes you to travel in your inner conscience. It activates your sub-conscious mind thus making your decision capacity more pronounce.

It’s food of our inner conscience; our inner soul, we need to provide food to our soul in order to keep it healthy and happy always!
