1) Dumas beach: This beach is located in Surat, Gujarat. It is used as a burial ground by the Hindus and till today, people claims to hear voices of people telling to each other when there seems nobody to be around you. According to locals, people who had gone there at night had disappeared in the dark. It is the reason people don’t visit this place at night.

2) Bhangarh fort: You must have heard its name. It’s a destination where a lot of people have already visited and never came back. You can visit here only at daytime as it is abandoned to visit her after sunset. According to a myth, this place was cursed by a ‘Tantrik’ and people of some villages around Bhangarh were ruined due to this curse. 

3) National Library, Kolkata: This placed appears haunting to even the guards who are cynical to do night shifts. People claims that every morning, letters and papers are found scattered on the table of the library. It’s said that ghosts of laborers who died during the construction of this library are spotted by many people. It’s also said that the footsteps of Governor’s wife is still heard at this place.

4) GP block, Meerut: This building is double storied building which is marked to be haunted. A lot of people have claimed to see four men having their drinks in their hand. This is considered to be house of evil spirits. Sometimes, a woman with red dress is also spotted to come outside this creepy place. People feel creepy while visiting this place.

5) Tunnel No. 33, Shimla: After all the scary ghosts and haunted places, read about a paranormal place where there is only one ghost who is friendly. There are numerous haunted places in Himachal Pradesh but we are going to tell you about a good one at the end. At this tunnel, people often claim to see a ghost which is believed to be a ghost of British Railway Engineer who died during the construction of this tunnel.

You can choose to navigate these places to add some more fun to your life. Even if you can’t visit here at night, you can visit these place at daytime. There are a lot more places which you could add to your navigation list but these places are destinations where the reports of paranormal activities are most!

Water is an essential part of our life. 70% of our body is made of water. Although, earth is also made up of 70% water and 30% land but the available fresh drinking water resources are less than 2%.

When water crises hit, it takes away many lives and create unending problems to a society. Here are the major areas which are affected by water scarcity:

• Health: In many countries, due to water scarcity, people are forced to drink contaminated water. This water affects their health. When contaminated water enter their body, it creates a lot of diseases. Moreover water scarcity leads to poor sanitation facilities which create risk to the lives of people. People have to use stagnant water in which water born disease like malaria starts its life. Hence, it becomes a dangerous game for the people.

• Hunger: Water is one resource which is a necessity of every living being. Either it is a plant, animal or human being. When scarcity of water arises, it becomes difficult to provide plants with necessary water. 70% of world’s water is used for agriculture and its crises leads to decrease in crop production. In most areas, agriculture is dependent on rains which are probable. This adds more weightage to world hunger crises.

• Education: Education doesn’t seem directly linked to water scarcity but in actual, it is related to it. In many parts of the world where people are hit by water scarcity, children especially girls are abandoned to go to school to serve family by bringing water from farthermost areas. If they go to school, then they have to work at their homes too which makes them tired and decreases their efficiency of studying.

• Poverty: As water is not accessible to many people. It decreases their standard of living. It becomes difficult for people to arrive at their work place on time. If people have to worry about the very basic necessity of their life ‘water’ do they would be able to contribute their 100% at work?

Water scarcity is a problem which has a huge impact on key areas of life as it is linked to basic needs of every life form. Without it, we can’t even think of survival. Water is a precious resource and it’s our duty not to waste it. Today, we have access to it. It’s not certain that we’ll have the same access tomorrow. Situation can change with time. We need to respect it and should make wise use out of it!

2) Narrow Mindset: People have quite narrow mindset regarding castes. Today, this era is no doubt changing but there is still a root which makes them to create a distinction in them. Now people have divided the society in General, SC, ST, OBC categories. Moreover, there is clash of people in sub-categories. They act superior to one another. People say that they don’t believe in casteism but they openly preach about their superiority of belonging to some royal class or of ancestors. Whatever. Doesn’t they indirectly showing their faith in casteism by making other people inferior? 

3) Distinction on the basis of caste: I don’t understand the criteria of Quota system. We want to unite our country in one thread of unity but we have divided it into classes. This has created distinction between different groups. In my opinion if we want to make everyone equal, we have to treat everyone equal. People who are really in need should be eligible for it. This criterion should not divide society. I wish one day this surname system will end when people will voluntarily choose to do it and recognition of individual would be done on some another basis.

4) Suicides: There occur many suicides because of this so called casteism. Many people who wanted to do inter caste marriages have ended their life with suicides. I think such society must feel their ‘Izzat’ after these acts which otherwise was spoiling by the youth!

5) Murders: In the name of God, a lot of murders still happen in our country. Don’t they understand they belong to humanity first before belonging to any caste? They feel they possess different blood. I ask do they have blood A, B, AB, O (+ or -) other than this? I don’t understand their logic of killing someone just because they don’t belong to your co-called caste. It’s really haunting to even imagine the suffering of people who have witnessed this shameful act.

I feel casteism has a very deep impact on our society. Knowingly or unknowingly, we are becoming its part. I respect every religion but before respecting any other religion, I firmly believe in one religion of Humanity!

1) Simba: The lion king: It was the most popular cartoon series of television. Nobody could opt to miss a single episode of it at any cost. The story was ongoing and a lot of fun and adventure have lied in their journey. It had always remained the best cartoon I’ve ever seen and I think most of you too have loved it. Every cartoon character of this series was unique in them. I remember how we people had cried to know that Simba died but at the end he returned back and joy filled everywhere. Those cartoons have something that had emotionally linked children to them which I don’t find in today’s cartoon characters.

2) The Powerpuff Girls: It was a television series which I had seen on “Cartoon Network”. It had always remained close to me and had always inspired me to fight against evil in my childhood. These cartoons always had a story to tell. The way Mojo-jojo used to perform evil tasks and Powerpuff girls had always got a call from Mayor to take revenge from Mojo-jojo, they have always fled with their superpowers. We were three girls at home and literally, we’d thought to be the powerpuff girls for the city.

3) Tom and Jerry: Tom and Jerry has always remained all-time favorite cartoon of most of the people. I’d always liked its series in which they both were children and its title song was awesome. Without singing that song, Tom and Jerry ritual had remained incomplete. It was like the Cartoon Anthem. 

4) Richie Rich: Who doesn’t like a lot of money with a robot like Irona who can do almost anything? Richie rich have always remained a cartoon who was an intelligent and rich fellow. His majestic way of living was enough to get children involve in him. I had always liked the GEMS at the end of episodes. 

5) Ostwald: Ostwald was world’s cutest and descent octopus. He was the most generous guy who had preached children to be generous and helpful. He had never denied anyone for anything. I still remember his episodes. The best part was their yummy ice-creams. 

6) Noddy: A little and most charming cartoon character ‘Noddy’ had always remained in the top list of cartoon characters. His colorful town, people and his fun loving behavior had always captivated children. It was a cartoon character for which people used to fight. His car was much more important than anything to children.

I have a very long list of cartoon episodes which have always remained source of joy and inspiration to me. I think those cartoons were a creative way of inspiring and motivating children to choose right path and to work for good cause!
