Teacher is a very important part of life that acts as a game
changer and transforms you. A teacher motivates you and sometime scolds too to teach
you lessons that you need!
I think every student have at least one teacher who leaves such
an impact on their life that changes them fully. One such teacher in my life
was Savita mam!
She was our science teacher when I was in 8th
standard. Everyone use to fear from her but for me, she was best. I remained
mediocre student until she came into my life as a light. She used to motivate
students a lot. Sometimes, she used to speak harsh things and I have always
taken her words seriously. I always felt truth behind her words.
The way she taught was amazing. Science became my favorite
subject. I didn’t have to even read at home. I had given two minutes reading
before any test and earned full marks every time. It was under her teaching and
words that I came up as a topper in class.
My mother used to teach at the same
school. My mom told them that I don’t read at home to which my teachers had
reply that I perform very well and Savita mam praised me more. When mom told me
about this, I felt doing more hard work. It was her class that made my sitting
and learning capacity high. Still, I could even attend any boring lecture with
patience. I can find anything interesting in that.
Some of her phrases are engraved in my heart which I always
remind. Mam used to say that students who work hard gets hungry more and still
when I feel hungry while or after reading, I remember her. She has always
taught us to keep every subject on tips, so it became my habit to first take an
overview and then fragmentation of subject and then thoroughly study of it. It
has helped me a lot.
People say I am a quick learner and the fact behind it is
the teachings of my teacher. She is an ideal teacher to me, I always compare
the way of teaching of my other teachers with her; I don’t know its good thing
or not. She has always made students to imagine things by giving examples from
daily life that had made the subject easy and moreover my imagination power
increased and thus history and other stories of Hindi and English started to
appear interesting!
This was the time I used to concentrate on my books only and
this increased my capacity of reading and speaking too. I think the seed of
studying was sown by her in me and I am thankful to her for being my teacher!
